حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنْ بِلَالٍ عَنْ شُتَيْرِ بْنِ شَكَلٍ وَعَنْ صِلَةَ بْنِ زُفَرَ وَعَنْ سُل
َيْكِ بْنِ مِسْحَلٍ الْغِفَارِيِّ قَالُوا خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا حُذَيْفَةُ وَنَحْنُ نَتَحَدَّثُ فَقَالَ إِنَّكُمْ لَتَكَلَّمُونَ كَلَامًا إِنْ كُنَّا لَنَعُدُّهُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ النِّفَاقَ

English Translation
It was narrated from Shutayr ibn Shakal, Silah ibn Zufar, and Sulayk ibn Mishal al-Ghifari that Hudhayfa (may Allah be pleased with him) came out to them while they were talking and said: 'You are speaking words that in the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ we would have counted as hypocrisy.'
