حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الْأ
َعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ قَامَ فِينَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَقَامًا مَا تَرَكَ فِيهِ شَيْئًا يَكُونُ قَبْلَ السَّاعَةِ إِلَّا قَدْ ذَكَرَهُ حَفِظَهُ مَنْ حَفِظَهُ وَنَسِيَهُ مَنْ نَسِيَهُ إِنِّي لَأَرَى الشَّيْءَ فَأَذْكُرُهُ كَمَا يَعْرِفُ الرَّجُلُ وَجْهَ الرَّجُلِ غَابَ عَنْهُ ثُمَّ رَآهُ فَعَرَفَهُ

English Translation
It was narrated from Hudhayfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood among us and gave a speech in which he left out nothing that would happen before the Hour. Whoever memorized it memorized it, and whoever forgot it forgot it. I see a thing and I recall it just as a man recognizes the face of someone who was absent from him and then he sees him and recognizes him.'
