حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ صِلَةَ بْنِ زُفَرَ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا مَرَّ بِآيَةِ خَوْفٍ تَعَو
َّذَ وَإِذَا مَرَّ بِآيَةِ رَحْمَةٍ سَأَلَ قَالَ وَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا رَكَعَ قَالَ سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْعَظِيمِ وَإِذَا سَجَدَ قَالَ سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَى

English Translation
It was narrated from Hudhayfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet ﷺ, when passing a verse of fear during recitation, would seek refuge in Allah, and when passing a verse of mercy, he would ask. And when the Prophet ﷺ bowed, he would say: 'Glory be to my Lord, the Mighty,' and when he prostrated, he would say: 'Glory be to my Lord, the Most High.'
