حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ عَنْ قَيْسٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِعَمَّارٍ أَرَأَيْتُمْ صَنِيعَكُمْ هَذَا الَّذِي صَنَعْتُمْ فِيمَا كَانَ مِنْ أَمْرِ عَلِيٍّ رَأْيًا رَأَيْتُمُوهُ أَمْ شَيْئًا عَهِدَ إِلَيْكُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَ
لَّمَ فَقَالَ لَمْ يَعْهَدْ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَيْئًا لَمْ يَعْهَدْهُ إِلَى النَّاسِ كَافَّةً وَلَكِنَّ حُذَيْفَةَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فِي أَصْحَابِي اثْنَا عَشَرَ مُنَافِقًا مِنْهُمْ ثَمَانِيَةٌ لَا يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ حَتَّى يَلِجَ الْجَمَلُ فِي سَمِّ الْخِيَاطِ

English Translation
It was narrated from Ammar ibn Yasir (may Allah be pleased with him) through Qays who said: 'I asked Ammar: "Regarding what you did in the matter of Ali — was it an opinion you held, or something the Messenger of Allah ﷺ instructed you?" He said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not instruct us with anything that he did not instruct all people with. But Hudhayfa informed me from the Prophet ﷺ that he said: 'Among my Companions are twelve hypocrites, of whom eight will not enter Paradise...'"'
