English Translation

It was narrated from Hudhayfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Do not say: "What Allah wills and so-and-so wills." Rather say: "What Allah wills, then what so-and-so wills."' In another chain, through al-Tufayl, the brother of Aisha through their mother, it is narrated that a Jew saw something in his sleep — and the hadith about the dislike of joining wills together is mentioned.
