Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ جُمَيْعٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الطُّفَيْلِ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَا
لَ خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ قَالَ فَبَلَغَهُ أَنَّ فِي الْمَاءِ قِلَّةً الَّذِي يَرِدُهُ فَأَمَرَ مُنَادِيًا فَنَادَى فِي النَّاسِ أَنْ لَا يَسْبِقَنِي إِلَى الْمَاءِ أَحَدٌ فَأَتَى الْمَاءَ وَقَدْ سَبَقَهُ قَوْمٌ فَلَعَنَهُمْ

English Translation
It was narrated from Hudhayfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ set out on the expedition of Tabuk and was informed that the water source he would reach had little water. He ordered a caller to announce to the people: "No one should precede me to the water." He came to the water and found that a group had already preceded him, so he cursed them.'
