حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ صِلَةَ بْنِ زُفَرَ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ جَاءَ الْعَاقِبُ وَالسَّيِّدُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَا أَرْسِلْ مَعَنَا رَجُلًا أَمِينًا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّ
هُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَأُرْسِلُ مَعَكُمْ رَجُلًا أَمِينًا أَمِينًا أَمِينًا قَالَ فَجَثَا لَهَا أَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى الرُّكَبِ قَالَ فَبَعَثَ أَبَا عُبَيْدَةَ بْنَ الْجَرَّاحِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ

English Translation
It was narrated from Hudhayfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: 'Al-Aqib and al-Sayyid came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: "Send a trustworthy man with us." The Prophet ﷺ said: "I will send with you a man who is truly, truly, truly trustworthy." The Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ knelt hoping to be chosen. He sent Abu Ubayda ibn al-Jarrah (may Allah be pleased with him).'
