حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ قَالَ وَأَنَا شُعَيْبٌ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ كَانَ أَبُو إِدْرِيسَ عَائِذُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنَ الْيَمَانٍِ يَقُولُ وَاللَّهِ إِنِّي لَأَعْلَمُ بِكُلِّ فِتْنَةٍ وَهِيَ كَائِنَةٌ فِيمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْ السَّاعَةِ وَمَا بِي أَنْ يَكُونَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَسَرَّ إِلَيَّ فِي ذَلِكَ شَيْئًا لَمْ
يُحَدِّثْ غَيْرِي بِهِ وَلَكِنْ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ وَهُوَ يُحَدِّثُ مَجْلِسًا أَنَا فِيهِمْ عَنْ الْفِتَنِ قَالَ وَهُوَ يَعُدُّهَا مِنْهُنَّ ثَلَاثٌ لَا يَكَدْنَ يَذَرْنَ شَيْئًا وَمِنْهُنَّ فِتَنٌ كَرِيَاحِ الصَّيْفِ مِنْهَا صِغَارٌ وَمِنْهَا كِبَارٌ قَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ فَذَهَبَ أُولَئِكَ الرَّهْطُ كُلُّهُمْ غَيْرِي

English Translation
It was narrated from Hudhayfa ibn al-Yaman (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: 'By Allah, I know every trial that will occur between now and the Hour. That is not because the Prophet ﷺ confided something to me privately that he did not tell anyone else. Rather the Prophet ﷺ was speaking in a gathering in which I was present about the trials, and he counted them, saying among them: there are three that will hardly subside...' and he described the major trials that will come upon the Muslims.
