حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى ا
للَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَخْبِرْنِي بِكَلِمَاتٍ أَعِيشُ بِهِنَّ وَلَا تُكْثِرْ عَلَيَّ فَأَنْسَى قَالَ اجْتَنِبْ الْغَضَبَ ثُمَّ أَعَادَ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ اجْتَنِبْ الْغَضَبَ

English Translation
It was narrated from a man among the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ that a man said to the Prophet ﷺ: 'Tell me words by which I may live, and do not make them too many lest I forget.' He said: 'Avoid anger.' Then he repeated the question and he said: 'Avoid anger.'
