حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْنَاهُ مِنَ الْأَعْمَشِ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَسَارٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ رَجُ

لٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَوْلَا أَشُقُّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي لَأَمَرْتُهُمْ بِالسِّوَاكِ مَعَ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ

English Translation
It was narrated from a man among the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Were it not that I fear burdening my nation, I would command them to use the toothstick with every prayer.'
