حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ عَنْ

سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ لَعِبَ بِالنَّرْدَشِيرِ فَكَأَنَّمَا غَمَسَ يَدَهُ فِي لَحْمِ خِنْزِيرٍ وَدَمِهِ وَلَمْ يُسْنِدْهُ وَكِيعٌ مَرَّةً

English Translation

It was narrated from Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever plays backgammon is as if he has dipped his hand in the flesh and blood of a pig.'
