حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ رَخَّصَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي أَمْرٍ فَتَنَزَّهَ عَن
ْهُ نَاسٌ مِنْ النَّاسِ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَغَضِبَ حَتَّى بَانَ الْغَضَبُ فِي وَجْهِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ مَا بَالُ قَوْمٍ يَرْغَبُونَ عَمَّا رُخِّصَ لِي فِيهِ فَوَاللَّهِ لَأَنَا أَعْلَمُهُمْ بِاللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَأَشَدُّهُمْ لَهُ خَشْيَةً

English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when some people turned away from what the Prophet ﷺ was permitted to do, and news of this reached him, he became angry, and the anger was visible on his face. He then said: 'What is wrong with people that they turn away from what Allah has permitted for me? By Allah, I am the most knowledgeable of them about Allah and the most fearful of Him.'
