حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ مَا عَلِمْنَا بِدَفْنِ رَسُو

لِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى سَمِعْتُ صَوْتَ الْمَسَاحِي مِنْ آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ لَيْلَةَ الْأَرْبِعَاءِ قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ وَالْمَسَاحِي الْمُرُورُ

English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: 'I heard the sound of shovels until the last part of the night on Wednesday' — Muhammad said: al-masahi means the movement.
