English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet's ﷺ companions entered to visit him while ill and stood up. He motioned to them to sit. When he finished his prayer, he said: 'The imam is to be followed. When he says the takbir, say the takbir; when he bows, bow; when he prays seated, pray seated; and when he prays standing, pray standing.'
