حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ

عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ شَيْبَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ لِكُلِّ قَوْمٍ مَادَّةً وَإِنَّ مَوَادَّ قُرَيْشٍ مَوَالِيهِمْ

English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Every tribe has its source of support, and the source of support for Quraysh is their freed clients.'
