حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ع
َنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا ذُكِرَ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ بِئْسَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ أَخُو الْعَشِيرَةِ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ فَجَعَلَ يُكَلِّمُهُ ثُمَّ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُقْبِلُ عَلَيْهِ بِوَجْهِهِ حَتَّى ظَنَنْتُ أَنَّ لَهُ عِنْدَهُ مَنْزِلَةً

English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that a man was mentioned before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he said: 'What a bad servant of Allah and tribesman he is.' Then the man entered and the Prophet ﷺ engaged him warmly in conversation. Aisha said: 'I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ turn fully toward him, until I thought the man had a high standing with him.'
