حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُسْلِمٌ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا ابْتَاعَ غُلَامًا فَاسْت
َغَلَّهُ ثُمَّ وَجَدَ أَوْ رَأَى بِهِ عَيْبًا فَرَدَّهُ بِالْعَيْبِ فَقَالَ الْبَائِعُ غَلَّةُ عَبْدِي فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْغَلَّةُ بِالضَّمَانِ

English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that a man purchased a slave, used him, and then found a defect in him and returned him. The seller said: 'What about the slave's earnings?' The Prophet ﷺ said: 'The profit comes with the guarantee [i.e., whoever takes the responsibility takes the profit].'
