حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَ
نْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ مُكَاتِبًا لَهَا دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا بِبَقِيَّةِ مُكَاتَبَتِهِ فَقَالَتْ لَهُ أَنْتَ غَيْرُ دَاخِلٍ عَلَيَّ غَيْرَ مَرَّتِكَ هَذِهِ فَعَلَيْكَ بِالْجِهَادِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَا خَالَطَ قَلْبَ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ رَهَجٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ إِلَّا حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ النَّارَ

English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that a mukatab [slave seeking emancipation] came to her with the remainder of his emancipation payment. She said to him: 'You will not visit me again after this. Go and strive in the path of Allah, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "No Muslim whose heart is touched by the dust of the path of Allah will Allah cause the Fire to touch him."'
