حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِي

ُّ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا ثَوَّبَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ اضْطَجَعَ عَلَى شِقِّهِ الْأَيْمَنِ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَهُ الْمُؤَذِّنُ فَيُؤْذِنَهُ بِالصَّلَاةِ

English Translation

It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the muadhdhin called for the final Fajr prayer, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would pray two short rak'ahs, then lie down on his right side until the muadhdhin came to announce the prayer.
