حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ قَالَ فَحَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ وَأَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ عُرْوَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُرْوَةَ يَقُولُ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ زَوْجُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَأَلَ أُنَاسٌ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلّ
َمَ عَنْ الْكُهَّانِ فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْسُوا بِشَيْءٍ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّهُمْ يُحَدِّثُونَ أَحْيَانًا بِالشَّيْءِ يَكُونُ حَقًّا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تِلْكَ الْكَلِمَةُ مِنْ الْحَقِّ يَخْطَفُهَا الْجِنِّيُّ فَيُقِرُّهَا فِي أُذُنِ وَلِيِّهِ قَرَّ الدَّجَاجَةِ فَيَخْلِطُونَ فِيهَا أَكْثَرَ مِنْ مِائَةِ كَذْبَةٍ

عروة يقول
English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she asked the Prophet ﷺ about soothsayers. He said: 'They are nothing.' She said: 'O Messenger of Allah, they sometimes tell something true.' He said: 'That is the word of truth that the jinn snatches and whispers into the ear of his ally, like the clucking of a hen, and they mix with it more than a hundred lies.'
