حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدٍ عَنْ عَزْرَةَ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ عَنْ عَائِشَة
َ قَالَتْ كَانَ لَنَا سِتْرٌ فِيهِ تِمْثَالُ طَائِرٍ فَكَانَ الدَّاخِلُ إِذَا دَخَلَ اسْتَقْبَلَهُ فَقَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا عَائِشَةُ حَوِّلِي هَذَا فَإِنِّي كُلَّمَا دَخَلْتُ فَرَأَيْتُهُ ذَكَرْتُ الدُّنْيَا وَكَانَتْ لَهُ قَطِيفَةٌ كُنَّا نَقُولُ عَلَمُهَا مِنْ حَرِيرٍ فَكُنَّا نَلْبَسُهَا

English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: 'We had a curtain with the image of a bird on it. When someone entered, they would face it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me: "O Aisha, change this, for whenever I enter and see it, it reminds me of this world." He also had a velvet cloth that we said had silk patterns, and we would wear it.'
