حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى

عَنْ هِشَامٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي عَنْ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ الْحُمَّى أَوْ شِدَّةَ الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَأَبْرِدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ

English Translation

It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Fever, or intense fever, is from the heat of Hellfire, so cool it with water.'
