حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى

عَنْ هِشَامٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي مِنْ اللَّيْلِ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً يُوتِرُ بِخَمْسٍ لَا يَجْلِسُ إِلَّا فِي الْخَامِسَةِ فَيُسَلِّمُ
English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray thirteen rak'ahs at night, performing witr with five of them. He would not sit except at the fifth, and then he would give the salam.
