حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كَانَتْ الْحَبَشَةُ يَلْعَبُونَ يَوْمَ عِيدٍ فَدَعَانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَل
Body (Matn)
َّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَكُنْتُ أَطَّلِعُ مِنْ عَاتِقِهِ فَأَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِمْ فَجَاءَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَعْهَا فَإِنَّ لِكُلِّ قَوْمٍ عِيدًا وَهَذَا عِيدُنَا
Isnad Chain
English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she watched some performers over the shoulder of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Abu Bakr came and the Prophet ﷺ said: "Leave her, for every people has their celebration, and this is our celebration."
