‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏سُفْيَانَ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏حَمَّادٍ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏إِبْرَاهِيمَ ‏ ‏عَنِ ‏ ‏الْأَسْوَدِ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏عَائِشَةَ ‏ ‏أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏كَانَ ‏ ‏يَخْرُجُ إِلَى صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ وَرَأْسُهُ يَقْطُرُ فَيُصْبِحُ صَائِمًا ‏

English Translation

It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet ﷺ used to go out to the Fajr prayer with water dripping from his head, and he would spend the day fasting.
