حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَامِرٌ عَنْ مَسْر
Body (Matn)
ُوقٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ الْخِيَرَةِ فَقَالَتْ خَيَّرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَفَكَانَ طَلَاقًا
English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that Masruq asked her about the option given to them by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and she replied: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave us a choice — does that count as a divorce?'
