English Translation

It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: 'A woman mentioned to me the punishment of the grave, and I disbelieved her. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered and I asked him. He said: "She spoke the truth. By the One in whose hand is my soul, they are truly being punished in their graves, to the extent that even animals can hear their cries."'
