حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَل
Body (Matn)
َيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ خَبُثَتْ نَفْسِي وَلَكِنْ لِيَقُلْ لَقِسَتْ نَفْسِي قَالَ وَكِيعٌ الْغَثَيَانُ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'None of you should say: "my soul has become foul" (khabuthat nafsi). Instead he should say: "my soul feels nauseous" (laqisat nafsi).' Waki' said: meaning disgust.
