حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أُسَامَةُ

بْنُ زَيْدٍ اللَّيْثِيُّ عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ فُرِضَتْ الصَّلَاةُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فَزَادَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي صَلَاةِ الْحَضَرِ وَتَرَكَ صَلَاةَ السَّفَرِ عَلَى نَحْوِهَا

English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: 'The prayer was prescribed as two rak'ahs. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ added to the prayer for residents, and left the traveler's prayer as it was.'
