حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأُمَوِيُّ عَنْ هِشَامِ ب

ْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كُنْتُ أَلْعَبُ بِالْبَنَاتِ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَكَانَ يَأْتِي بِصَوَاحِبِي فَكُنَّ إِذَا رَأَيْنَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْقَمِعْنَ مِنْهُ فَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُسَرِّبُهُنَّ إِلَيَّ يَلْعَبْنَ مَعِي

English Translation

It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: 'I used to play with dolls in the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He would bring my companions to me. When they saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, they would hide from him. But the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would send them back to me to play with me.'
