عَنْ عَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ لَوْ رَأَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا أَحْدَثَ النِّسَاءُ لَمَنَعَهُنَّ الْمَسْجِدَ كَمَا مُنِعَتْ نِسَاءُ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ

English Translation

It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: 'If the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had seen what women have now introduced, he would have forbidden them from the mosque, just as the women of the Children of Israel were forbidden.'
