‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏يَزِيدُ ‏ ‏أَخْبَرَنَا ‏ ‏يَحْيَى ‏ ‏أَنَّ ‏ ‏مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَخِي عَمْرَةَ ‏ ‏أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ ‏ ‏عَمْرَةَ ‏ ‏أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ ‏ ‏عَائِشَةَ ‏ ‏تَقُولُ ‏ ‏إِنْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏لَيُصَلِّي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ اللَّتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ فَيُخَفِّفُهُمَا حَتَّى إِنْ كُنْتُ لَأَقُولُ هَلْ قَرَأَ فِيهِمَا ‏ ‏بِأُمِّ الْقُرْآنِ ‏

English Translation

It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to make the two rak'ahs before Fajr so brief that I would ask myself whether he had recited Surah al-Fatihah in them.'
