حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَخِي عَمْرَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ عَمْرَةَ أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ عَائِشَةَ تَقُولُ إِنْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيُصَلِّي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ اللَّتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ فَيُخَفِّفُهُمَا حَتَّى إِنْ كُنْتُ لَأَقُولُ هَلْ قَرَأَ فِيهِمَا بِأُمِّ الْقُرْآنِ
English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to make the two rak'ahs before Fajr so brief that I would ask myself whether he had recited Surah al-Fatihah in them.'
