حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ أَك
َانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي قَاعِدًا قَالَتْ كَانَ يُصَلِّي مِنْ اللَّيْلِ طَوِيلًا قَاعِدًا وَيُصَلِّي مِنْ اللَّيْلِ طَوِيلًا قَائِمًا فَإِذَا قَرَأَ قَائِمًا رَكَعَ قَائِمًا وَإِذَا قَرَأَ قَاعِدًا رَكَعَ قَاعِدًا

English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she was asked whether the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed sitting. She replied: 'He would pray part of the night sitting for a long time and part of the night standing for a long time. When he recited standing, he would bow standing. And when he recited sitting, he would bow sitting.'
