Chain of Narration (Isnad)
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ هَلْ كَانَ
Body (Matn)
رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنَامُ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ قَالَتْ نَعَمْ وَلَكِنَّهُ كَانَ لَا يَنَامُ حَتَّى يَغْسِلَ فَرْجَهُ وَيَتَوَضَّأُ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلَاةِ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she was asked whether the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would sleep while in a state of ritual impurity. She replied: 'Yes — but he would not sleep until he had washed his private parts and performed ablution as for prayer.'
