English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: 'There would sometimes be months when no smoke was seen coming from the homes of the family of the Prophet ﷺ.' She was asked: 'O mother, what was their food?' She replied: 'The two black things — water and dates. But the Prophet ﷺ had sincere neighbors from the Ansar who had milking animals, and they would send milk to him.'
