حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ مَوْلًى لِآلِ الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ إِنَّ بِنْتَ زَمْعَةَ قَالَتْ أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقُلْتُ إِنَّ أَبِي
زَمْعَةَ مَاتَ وَتَرَكَ أُمَّ وَلَدٍ لَهُ وَإِنَّا كُنَّا نَظُنُّهَا بِرَجُلٍ وَإِنَّهَا وَلَدَتْ فَخَرَجَ وَلَدُهَا يُشْبِهُ الرَّجُلَ الَّذِي ظَنَنَّاهَا بِهِ قَالَ فَقَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَهَا أَمَّا أَنْتِ فَاحْتَجِبِي مِنْهُ فَلَيْسَ بِأَخِيكِ وَلَهُ الْمِيرَاثُ

English Translation
It was narrated from Sawda, wife of the Prophet ﷺ (may Allah be pleased with her), about a slave woman whose master, Zam'a, died and who had given birth to a child resembling a man they had suspected. The Prophet ﷺ said regarding her: "As for you, veil yourself from him, for he is not your brother. And the inheritance belongs to him."
