حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَمْرَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ قَالَتْ اسْتُحِض
ْتُ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ فَاشْتَكَيْتُ ذَلِكَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْسَتْ تِلْكَ بِالْحَيْضَةِ وَلَكِنْ عِرْقٌ فَاغْتَسِلِي فَكَانَتْ تَغْتَسِلُ عِنْدَ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ فَكَانَتْ تَغْتَسِلُ فِي الْمِرْكَنِ فَنَرَى صُفْرَةَ الدَّمِ فِي الْمِرْكَنِ

English Translation
It was narrated from a woman of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with her) that she experienced continuous bleeding for seven years and complained about it to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ said: "This is not menstruation — it is a vein. Perform ghusl." So she began performing ghusl before every prayer, and she would do so in the basin where the yellowish color of the blood could be seen.
