حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ جُدَامَةَ بِنْتِ وَهْبٍ أُخْتِ عُكَّاشَةَ قَالَتْ حَضَرْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي نَاسٍ وَهُوَ يَقُو
لُ لَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ أَنْهَى عَنْ الْغِيلَةِ فَنَظَرْتُ فِي الرُّومِ وَفَارِسَ فَإِذَا هُمْ يُغِيلُونَ أَوْلَادَهُمْ وَلَا يَضُرُّ أَوْلَادَهُمْ ذَلِكَ شَيْئًا ثُمَّ سَأَلُوهُ عَنْ الْعَزْلِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَاكَ الْوَأْدُ الْخَفِيُّ وَهُوَ { وَإِذَا الْمَوْءُودَةُ سُئِلَتْ }

English Translation
It was narrated from a wife of the Prophet ﷺ (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet ﷺ said: "I considered forbidding the practice of nursing while pregnant, but I looked at the Persians and Romans — they nurse their children while pregnant and it does not harm the children at all." He was then asked about coitus interruptus and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "That is the hidden burial alive, and it is: 'And when the infant buried alive is asked.'"
