حَدَّثَنَا هَيْثَمُ بْنُ خَارِجَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ الْعَجْلَانِ عَنْ مُجَا

هِدٍ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْعَقِيقَةُ عَنْ الْغُلَامِ شَاتَانِ مُكَافَأَتَانِ وَعَنْ الْجَارِيَةِ شَاةٌ

English Translation
It was narrated from Asma bint Yazid (may Allah be pleased with her) from the Prophet ﷺ that he said: "The aqiqah for a boy is two sheep of similar size, and for a girl, one sheep."
