حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ ثَنَا التَّيْمِيُّ يَعْنِي سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ يَعْنِ

ي النَّهْدِيَّ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ قَالَ الطَّاعُونُ وَالْبَطْنُ وَالْغَرَقُ وَالنُّفَسَاءُ شَهَادَةٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بِهِ أَبُو عُثْمَانَ مِرَارًا وَقَدْ رَفَعَهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّةً

English Translation

It was narrated from Safwan ibn Umayya (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "Death by plague, death from a stomach ailment, death by drowning, and death in childbirth are all martyrdom." He said: "Abu Uthman narrated this to us several times and once traced it directly to the Prophet ﷺ."
