حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي حَاتِمُ بْنُ أَبِي صَغِيرَةَ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ مَوْلَى أُمِّ هَانِئٍ عَنْ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ قَالَتْ سَأَلْتُ ر
َسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى { وَتَأْتُونَ فِي نَادِيكُمْ الْمُنْكَرَ } قَالَ كَانُوا يَخْذِفُونَ أَهْلَ الطَّرِيقِ وَيَسْخَرُونَ مِنْهُمْ فَذَلِكَ الْمُنْكَرُ الَّذِي كَانُوا يَأْتُونَ

English Translation
It was narrated from a Companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about the words of Allah the Almighty: "And you commit abomination in your gatherings." He said: "They used to pelt people on the road with pebbles and mock them — that was the abomination they used to commit."
