English Translation

It was narrated that ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) said: When Abu Talib died, I came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: Your paternal uncle, the misguided old man, has died. He said: `Go and bury him, and do not do anything until you come to me.` So I went and buried him. Then he told me to do ghusl, then he prayed for me, offering supplications that I would not like to have anything else instead of them.
