Chain of Narration (Isnad)

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ مَوْلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ قَالَ ثُمّ

َ شَهِدْتُهُ مَعَ عَلِيٍّ فَصَلَّى قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْطُبَ بِلَا أَذَانٍ وَلَا إِقَامَةٍ ثُمَّ خَطَبَ فَقَالَ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ نَهَى أَنْ تَأْكُلُوا نُسُكَكُمْ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثِ لَيَالٍ فَلَا تَأْكُلُوهَا بَعْدُ

English Translation

It was narrated from `Ali (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ that he said: `Do not pray after ‘Asr, unless you pray when the sun is still high.”
