حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ مَا

لِكٍ عَنْ سَعْدٍ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَأَنْ يَمْتَلِئَ جَوْفُ أَحَدِكُمْ قَيْحًا حَتَّى يَرِيَهُ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَنْ يَمْتَلِئَ شِعْرًا

English Translation
It was narrated from Sa'd (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'That the belly of one of you be filled with pus until it corrodes him is better than that it be filled with poetry.'
