English Translation
Muhammad ibn Sa'd narrated from his father (رضي الله عنه) who said: ''Umar sought permission to enter upon the Prophet ﷺ while some women were with him whose voices had risen above his. When he was given permission, they rushed away. 'Umar entered while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was laughing. 'Umar said: May Allah make you laugh, O Messenger of Allah, may my father and mother be sacrificed for you. He said: I was amazed by these women who were with me — when they heard your voice, they rushed away. 'Umar turned to them and said: O enemies of your own selves! By Allah, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was more deserving of your awe than me. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Leave them alone, O 'Umar. By Allah, whenever the Shaytan meets you on a path, he takes a path other than yours. This is the last hadith of Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas (رضي الله عنه).'
