English Translation

'Ali ibn Ishaq narrated to us, 'Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak informed us, Layth ibn Sa'd informed us, 'Abd Rabbihi ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from 'Imran ibn Abi Anas, from 'Abdullah ibn Nafi' ibn al-'Amya', from Rabi'ah ibn al-Harith, from al-Fadl ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنه), who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Prayer is two by two. You make the tashahhud after every two rak'ahs, and you humble yourself, show submissiveness, and show neediness. Then you raise your hands, lifting them to your Lord with their palms facing your face, and you say: 'O my Lord, O my Lord.' Whoever does not do that..." and he said a severe word about it.
