حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِل
ْمُحَلِّقِينَ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ فَقَالَ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ فَقَالَ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ أَوْ الرَّابِعَةِ وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ

English Translation
Hushaym narrated to us, Yazid ibn Abi Ziyad informed us, from Miqsam, from Ibn 'Abbas, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "O Allah, forgive those who shave their heads." A man said: "And those who trim?" He said: "O Allah, forgive those who shave their heads." The man said: "And those who trim?" He said on the third or fourth time: "And those who trim."
