English Translation
Marwan narrated to us, Khusayf narrated to us, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: "the Messenger of Allah ﷺ only prohibited the garment made entirely of silk." Ibn 'Abbas said: "As for the silk warp and the decorative border, we see no harm in them." Ma'mar, meaning Ibn Sulayman al-Raqqi, narrated to us, he said: Khusayf said: More than one person narrated to me from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: the Prophet ﷺ only prohibited garments entirely made of silk. As for the decorative border, there is no prohibition.
