‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنِي ‏ ‏الْمُطَّلِبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حَنْطَبٍ ‏ ‏أَنَّ ‏ ‏ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ‏ ‏كَانَ ‏ ‏يَتَوَضَّأُ مَرَّةً مَرَّةً وَيُسْنِدُ ذَاكَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏

English Translation

Al-Walid ibn Muslim narrated to us, al-Awza'i narrated to us, al-Muttalib ibn 'Abdullah ibn Hantab narrated to me, that Ibn 'Abbas used to perform wudu' washing each limb once, and he attributed that to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
