حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنْ رَجُ

لٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَهَا إِنَّمَا سُمِّيتِ أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ لِتَسْعَدِي وَإِنَّهُ لَاسْمُكِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُولَدِي

English Translation
Sufyan narrated to us, from Layth, from a man, from Ibn 'Abbas, that he said to her: "You were only named 'Mother of the Believers' so that you would be blessed, and indeed it was your name before you were born."
